Interface/Port based failover in F5 ?
I have a following requirement. As per following, the above mentioned solution would be suitable or not ?
=============================
Hi
In F5 Load Balancer(3400 series) , we have a Vlan based failover in which if all the members/ports in the Vlan fails , only then failover happens.
I have a requirement , in which I need that if only one member/port fails in the vlan (irrespective of other vlan members), then also vlan failover should happen .
For exapmle :- I have 3 members/ports in a Vlan (say 1.1, 1.2 & 1.3) . Now I need if only particular port 1.1 fails (irrespective of 1.2 & 1.3) , complete vlan failover should happen.
My above requirement would be more like Port based failover instead of vlan based failover
I didn't found any option in which I can do port based failover in F5 load balancer.
Any suggestions on the same.
