AltostratusYes Andrea, you do need to install and run the Edge client. The Edge client, because it is running as a native app, has the ability read and submit the device's UUID to APM. Mobile devices do not submit UUIDs when just browsing websites, so you will only get the UUID in the VPN scenario.
