ModeratorI gotta say.. working w/ Gentoo taught me more about operating systems - ALL OF THEM - than anything else. Ground-up manual build EVERY time.. so much to learn! So many hardware devices!

SIRTGood memories of bootstrapping my system every time, messing with the compiler flags in search of the best optimisation, hand configuring the kernel etc..
Makes me want to go and install gentoo somewhere, just for fun 🙂
