X-Forwarded-For

Hi there,

 

 

I'm using "Insert XForwarded For" feature as part of the http profile to pass Client IP to the Apache servers. I'm wondering what happens if the client IP is coming as part of a XForwarded For fiel already because the client is behind a proxy. Is there any way of stripping the client IP out?

    Hi Manuel,

     

     

    You can remove existing XFF header(s) and insert a new one using an iRule. Here is an example (Click here).
