Windows registry check with Custom Key
Hi
I have an scenario where we will be have potential 3 different non corporate sites accessing a web app through the F5. The web app will also be slightly different dependant on the company on who is accessing the page.
The solution i'm looking is using the windows registry check to find a different custom key we would want installed on the PC's. But I can't get my custom key to work and I don't know why.
I've tested using the filezilla reg key as an example and this is the format I have "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FileZilla 3\fzshellext"."Enable"="1" This works
I have then created our custom key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Slcheck"."Enable"="1" When I tested it said access denied.
Can anyone suggest why I would be having an issues?
Thanks
Chris

I have found the answer to this query. It is because I was adding the key in manually to a 64bit machine and it was not checking in the correct place. I have added the key to the wow6432node and it is now working.
