May 17, 2007Windows reg check.
Hi,
I try to check if computer belongs some domain, but it fails some reason.
My Endpoint Inspector Details is:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Volatile Environment\USERDNSDOMAIN"."DOMAIN.LOCAL" ISPR
but it fails every time. Any suggestion?

Hi Ville,
I have used the following registry to check for the domain with success:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon"."DefaultDomainName"="DOMAIN"
Where DOMAIN = the pre-Windows 2000 Domain name.
Cheers,
Chris.
