Will IPsec traffic work in load balancing?

Will IPsec traffic work in load balancing?

 

Example: Client to server is using windows IPsec connection

 

By letting the client hit onto the VS ip, will IPsec connection still work ?

 

If yes, will persistent still works?

    Yep, you can funnel IPSec VPN traffic through VS/Pool. Persistence is required, unless you terminate VPN at a stateless cluster which synchronizes information of both IKE/IPSec phases across units. If you need persistence, your options in regards to possible methods are limited, but there are some (i.e. source IP). If you go down that route, and do balancing with source-IP persistence, you will get 'some' balancing, but nowhere near 50/50 as desired.
