Wildcard SSL Config

hi everyone

 

 

we generally purchase individual SSL certificates for each virtual server/web site, but we've decided to give wildcards a go

 

 

my question is, do you simply create a standard client ssl profile for the wildcard certificate and reference it within the config for each virtual server? so the client browser will display *.domain.com for every web site?

    Yes that is how I use it. I created a specific *.domain.com and applied it to the all the virtuals under that will carry the *.domain.com domains. It appears to work just fine
