Feb 24, 2012wildcard cookie "*" - Present in db
Thanks Aaron for your answer.
Further, had a Questions...
1) for a webapp/policy i have created wildcard cookie "*" and enabled tightening on it. This gives me an idea which domain cookies are being modified and being used so that i can learn on its use and maybe accept it in the policy.
However for another webapp/policy when i go to create this wildcard cookie "*" it says cookie already present in database. So i cannot create a wildcard cookie "*" and niether is the traffic learning screen learning anything on the cookies for this webapp/policy. So how do i proceed to learn on the cookies.
Can someone pls advise ?
Nik

Friends,
Let me put the query in a better way.
If i add a wildcard cookie type "*" for one policy , its prevents me from adding another wildcard cookie name "*" for another policy? (Says its already present in the policy.
Query 1) Is the wildcard "*" at a global level, which means once the suggestions are applied to one security policy , its applicable for all policies ?
Query2) How do i add a wild card cookie "*" to another policy/app while its already in the tightening stage for a policy/app.(as i want learn the cookies used in both apps)
Any comments would be highly appreciated.
