Why upon changing the learing mode to Manual, the learning status bar disappears?

Hi;

 

Why upon changing the learning mode for a policy built for an "Auto policy builder", why when changing the learning mode to manual then back to auto, you lose that status bar showing continuous learning. This bar is under the learning and blocking settings.

 

Also, why can't you reset the learning to comprehensive instead of custom. Is it that when you stop the Automatic Policy Builder for a manual intervention, you can not go back into an Auto mode anymore?
