Why STYPE_PASSWORD used while generating key.

There are three Security type supported while generating key NORMAL,PASSWORD and FIPS. I dont understand what is meant by STYPE_PASSWORD.

 

is it if Management Security Type is selected as STYPE_PASSWORD internally enrypt the password with system generated password . ? I dont see any field which takes password in iControl Apis.
