Which iApp to use with Azure

Hi,

 

We're running BigIP 13.1

 

I can see there is an iApp for AD FS ( and ) Details here: http://www.f5.com/pdf/deployment-guides/microsoft-adfs-dg.pdf

 

There is also an iApp for Office 365 () Details here: http://www.f5.com/pdf/deployment-guides/microsoft-office-365-idp-dg.pdf

 

I would like to have authentication requests to Azure use our on premise Active Directory. It seems both can do this job.

 

Assuming I have not misunderstood the use case for these iApps can I ask what are the advantages of one over the other?

 

My initial feeling is the o365 iApp is less complex but has less features.

    Hello,

     

    In your case, you whant to authenticate user without using adfs so you have tu use IAPP Office 365.

     

    This Iapp will create you an IDP with specific settings (ECP, attributes, ...) that need azure in order to autenticate user...
