When to SNAT, NAT or use both
Started a new job and trying to understand how SNAT and NAT are configured/working. On the pools they have "allow snat and allow nat" configured to yes. The thing is in "address translation" nothing (snat/nat) is configured. Would allowing snat and nat without anything in address translation cause an issue?

The "Allow SNAT/NAT" settings on a pool are enabled (set to yes) by default. It's okay to leave them that way even though there are no snat or nat objects in Address Translation. Be aware that even when there are no SNAT objects under Address Translation an individual virtual server can still have snating functionality enabled with its "Source Address Translation" setting.
