Mar 23, 2010What server am I on ?
I have 8 nodes connected to the same virtual server.
Sometimes a problem can occur on one of the servers.
I need a quick way to know which server a specific client is connected to.
This is not a web application.
I am running Version 9.4.8 on a Big-IP 3600.

Hello Sten,
as far as I am aware there is no 'easy' way on the f5 to see which pool member a specific client has been load balanced to.
Aside from using packet captures etc, the way I normally see server identification performed is via something visible on the server, for example a notification built into a command prompt, or a different background on each terminal server displaying the server name for example. Since I am unaware of your particular application I am unable to provide anything too specific.
Hopefully someone else may have a better idea of how to identify the server!
