Hi;
In a DNS Sync Group, what metrics information are exchanged between the BIGIP DNS devices? Would the site persistence records be shared this way? By that I mean the records of LDNS source IP addresses VS the BIGIP LTM's Local Traffic virtual server.

DNS devices exchange config and stats. You can check it by your own using:
iqdump <peer_device_ip>Regards,

Actually you upvoted your question not my answer :-).
What you describe is a known issue. Try to refresh the page again and you will find a "mark as answer" option.
