Feb 13, 2009What is the best way to tell if your page is cached?
How can you tell if you have a cached page or if it was just refreshed?
Can I tell via Firefox HTTP headers? How do most people do it?

Hello,
If you are using Firefox, I would download the HttpFox plugin. This will tell you if an object was cached locally or not, as well as a lot of other information.
If you are using Web Accelerator, you can take it a step further and look at the X-Pvinfo headers. These will tell you if the object was cached on the WA and if so, in Hot Cache or Smart Cache. You can get the info on X-Pvinfo in the Policy Management guide for WA on askF5.
Hope this helps,
