Aug 29, 2010What is an iqobject ?
Hi all,
I have logged a call with support asking this same question, but thought I would ask the question here also hoping someone may be able to shed some light on the subject for me.
I have an HA pair (3600's), running 10.2.0, and am getting a confusing errors in the ltm log.
See below:
Aug 30 08:58:16 local/hostname err mcpd[3465]: 01020036:3: The requested pool member (member_abc 10.162.134.43 iqobject) was not found.
Aug 30 08:58:22 local/hostname err mcpd[3465]: 01020036:3: The requested pool member (member_def 10.162.137.151 iqobject) was not found.
Aug 30 08:58:25 local/hostname err mcpd[3465]: 01020036:3: The requested pool member (member_ghi 10.162.134.86 iqobject) was not found.
These errors occur consistently (every few seconds) for all members, on both boxes. I have pulled out all iRules and added new pools - the problem simply begins to occur on those new members also. I suspect this is a configuration error I have generated, these are new boxes and these are the first pools added.
I have hunted high and low in askf5 and devcentral for a reference to the iqobject mentioned, but to no avail - has anyone seen anything like this before?
Thanks
J

Are you using EM 2.1 and does your LTM have pool members listening on high ports? Looks like you're running into a bug I'm also hitting. If you are indeed using EM, I'll get you my bug ID since there's now a hot fix I'm trying. - Chris_Miller

BTW - iqobject is merely the port at which EM might be trying to discover your high port pool members. - Nick_T_68319

I'm having the same issue. So it's a non-issue? - Jason_Keating

The hotfix certainly resolved the issue for me. - Chris_Miller
