Jul 26, 2010What does a Wide IP Zone look like
I'm knew to GTM, but have a solid BIND background ...
I read that once you create a Wide IP, a wide IP zone will be created automatically, just wonder what a typical wide IP Zone look like?
Is that ...

Jul 26, 2010thanks George for the quick response ..
I've read some deployment guides and basically understandthe mechanism you mentioned.. However, as I don't have access to a real thing (GTM), some part still not very sure :-).
So you mean if I create a Wide IP, www.wip.example.com, it would not be a zone created, wip.example.com, with a physical/electronic zone file? However, if I do a zone transfer, what should be in that zone? Would there be an A record mapping to the load balanced IP, besides the SOA, NS, and server A record (GTM listener IP)?
Heard a lot about the wideip.conf file, if a wide IP www.wip.example.com created, what a typical wideip.conf would look like then?
Thanks again George!
