NimbostratusWhat version of BigIP are you running? Take a look at the iRule in this article. https://devcentral.f5.com/questions/html5-websocket-rewriting-52921. (if you're running version 12.something I beleive there's a vs setting to enable websockets, but if you're running older version than iRule is needed.)
