Hi Paul,

 

 

It sounds like LTM is reaping the idle connection after the idle tiemout expires. By default the stock TCP profile idle timeout is set to 300 seconds (5min). You can change this by creating a custom TCP profile with a longer idle timeout. SOL6532 (Click here) and SOL7606 (Click here) have details on this.
