Dec 02, 2008WakeOnLan Through Terminal Servicer
We are configuring our PCs to enter an S3 sleep state. When we attempt to establish a desktop connection through Terminal Servers, we need to execute a SQL stored procedure that wakes up the PC.
The stored procedure retrieves the PC’s IP and Mac addresses from a SQL database and sends a Magic packet. The stored procedure requires the ComputerName as its only argument. Looking for your recommendations on how to configure a script or other means for executing this procedure.
Thanks,
Tom
