WA and Sharepoint Server

My client is running Sharepoint 2007 through WA. When they dont access it via WA, and they create / open a document (any type of document, Word, Excep Powerpoint etc) from Sharepoint's library, and they upload the document back into Sharepoint, it shows the sharepoint paths where they can save the document. It even gives them the option to change the metadata information of the file (Originator, what the file is about etc).

 

 

Once they go through the WA, all these options dissapear, and it is like saving the file to your local machine. All the Sharepoint integration parts dissapear.

 

 

They are running 9.6.1 on the BigIP, all the clients are IE6 clients, and they are using office 2003 on all machines.
