Client side & Server side certificates can be different.

 

I believe your setup is like this:

 

Client -> Certificate [] [F5] Server Certificate [server1.site.com]

 

Make sure that you have serverssl under server profile. If you're using same certificate at both side, you can update certificate with ALT Name with both dns names.
