virtual server responds to Telnet on port 80, even when pool member is down.
Folks, We have configured a virtual server which is setup to listen on port 80 and 443.
A pool and a pool member has been configure and the monitoring is setup on port 80. Once the IIS services are disabled on the pool member the pool member shows as doan and does not respond to telnet requests on po 80, which is correct.
However, the Virtual server still responds to telnet requests on po 80 which I am confused if this is the correct behavior. The Virtual server still shows as down with the Red colour status icon.
Any suggestion/help?
Thanks, N
