Aug 21, 2008Virtual Server problem
Hi there,
I have a problem that I need some advice with. Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum for the question.
I have set up two 1500 LTM units and everything appears fine. Both can see all nodes and everything comes up as green.
Network failover and ConfigSync also works fine.
My problem is this:
I can't access any of the published virtual servers.
Example:
I have a virtual server published as:
172.x.x.x:22
It has a pool which has one member:
10.x.x.x:22
Now, from the WAN, I can ping the 172.x.x.x ip of the virtual server and I can access the 172.x.x.x self ip of the unit but I cannot ssh to the 10.x.x.x server (It's a RHEL server)
However, if I ssh onto the BigIP itself I can ssh from there to the 10.x.x.x box so I don't think it's a question of the 2 not "seeing" each other.
It looks like forwarding doesn't happen.
Any help will be appreciated.

FYI: I have found the problem. There was static routes on the destination server pointing away from the BigIP even though the default gw was the BigIP.
