Do most people put their VS IP's on the same subnet as the web servers, or do you put your virtual servers on their own subnet? Just curious what everyone does

Both options work. But the most common deployment method is where you separate clients and servers on separate VLANs. The advantage to this is that LTM acts as a reverse proxy and adds a layer of security.
