Virtual Server and iRule with Persistence

If I assign an iRule to a virtual server that sends connections to a specific pool, does the default persistence profile set on the virtual server still function?

Hi Ken,

 

an iRule can be used to manipulate certain Profiles, Settings, Pools, etc. bound to your Virtual Server based on flexible iRule conditions. It would change those setting always just for a single TCP connection and if you doesn't manipulate a specific setting, then it would always default to the Virtual Server settings.
