Viprion HA
Hi,
Do we need to create a trunk in the GUI to bind both blade’s ports to the same traffic group when doing HA in the chassis? Please suggest on this.
Thanks,
Sekhar

i do not think trunk has traffic-group parameter.

If you want to survive a blade failure you need a connection from each blade to the switch configured as a trunk and that trunk will be used in your HA configuration

Hi afedden, we are having two blades in a single chassis and trying to do a fail over between two cluster members/blades. Do you suggest trunking the external interfaces and internal interfaces of both the blades and tag them?

I don't think you can create HA between two blades in a single chassis.
"When a VIPRION system consists of one cluster, you configure it as a single device. When a VIPRION system consists of two clusters (one cluster per chassis), you can configure the system for redundancy."
When blades are in cluster in a single chassis, and one blade fails the other blade should act as primary.
