VIP/Pool Naming Conventions?

Are there any recommended or "best practice" naming conventions for Virtual Servers and Pools? One unfortunate thing I've noticed is that the VIP and Pool searches are case sensitive.

    I'm partial to:

     

     

    [application name or hostname]_[protocol]_[object-type]

     

     

    www.example.com_http_vs

     

    or

     

    webmail_https_vs

     

    or

     

    webmail_https_pool

     

     

    I try to use only lower case.

    I use a different method

     

     

    pool_description-ip

     

    vs_description-ip

     

    vs_description_ssl-ip

     

     

    Etc
