VE Edition 11.5.1 on ESXi 5.5 install issues

I just purchased a lad edition license and deployed the VE to my ESXi 5.5 host. I am having an issue where upon initial startup, the mcpd service keeps crashing. I have worked around that by deleting all four initial NIC's using the the vmxnet3 device and adding them back using the E1000 device.

 

Everything boots like it should now but I have a new issue with the device certificates section erroring out doing the initial config. I can work around that and finish the initial confg, but the certificates section is not accessible.

 

I have searched around and have not found any info on this.

 

I am using the BIGIP-11.5.1.0.0.110.ALL-scsi.ova for my deployment.

 

Any ideas?

    Hi Robert,

     

    Dealing with NICs after installing VE is not a good practice.

     

    Just try to install that OVA from the scratch again.

     

    In case of license issues just call to F5 Support to rehost your activation key.
