vCMP Upgrade : do I need to change the Guests' "Initial Image" to match the new iso before Deploying the guest again ?
- Sep 03, 2019
Hi Corrado,
My suggestion would be to retain the ISO of whichever version the Guests are currently running just in case you have to re-create the Guest or load a UCS backup. We have an article that mentions this briefly as well.
"Guest initial image .iso files should be retained on the host system. When loading a UCS file on the host, if the initial image .iso file has been removed, the UCS will fail to load and will indicate that it is waiting for the initial image."
