Dec 06, 2013This issue has been resolved.
We found that when you create your vCMP guest a default route is created to the external vlan. Our external vlan has no access to internal network. We created the 3 private range static routes and this allowed any pings or traceroutes to go internally and resolve.
It turns out the GUI Setup Wizard will state VLAN has no interface configured warning, this should really be updated to state that if this is a vCMP guest, they do not require an interface associated with VLAN's as the Host will be responsible for this. It also is not stated in the vCMP configuration guides (or if it is not very clearly)
Thanks for your help!
