vCMP core allocation
Hi All, Currently we have viprion 2400 and b2100 blades running 11.2.1 both host and guests. In version 11.2.1, the only options to allocate core is "single and Full". If we upgrade the box to 11.5.3 HF6, can we allocated more than 2 cores per blade? If so, do we begin with guests or with the host?
Thanks

On your B2100 blades, you should be able to allocate 2, 4 or 8 cores to a vCMP guest. You do not need to allocate ressources to the vCMP host.
See https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/14000/200/sol14218.html for details on vCPU allocation.
If you plan to change the vCPU allocation of your guests, you should start with upgrading the vCMP host. According to https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/14000/000/sol14088.html it should even be possible to just upgrade the host and leave the guests on 11.2.1 if you prefer to do so...
