v10.x to v10.2.4 conversion via ucs file

Im trying to perform a v10.1.x to a v10.2.4 migration utilizing a 10.1.0 ucs file. My only tools are my Fusion vm and I just learned that I cannot create a 10.1.0 boot volume on my 10.2.4 vm.

 

Does anyone have experience on what versions I can use?
