Using monitors in iRules

Hi:

I have the next question, Is possible use the state that mark one monitor in an iRule?, That is because I have three monitors configurated in one node (2 ICMP monitors and one inbound monitor) and I need that the node is mark down when inbound node is down even if the rest of the monitors are up.

  • Yes, it's possible.

You can configure 3 pools (one with each monitor pointing the same node).

After that, you can use "active_members" command to check the state of those pools.
