URL redirection on GTM

Hi Guys, I'm working on a request to setup a URL redirection on GTM. The required scenario is if the user want to access x.goal.com should get redirected to y.goal.com using GTM.

 

I'm sure we should be able to achieve this using irule. Could any one please share the irule which help to redirect the URL using GTM?

    Sorry Thiyagu, GTM only handles DNS requests so has no concept of Http, hence can't redirect.

     

    If x.goal.com exists on an LTM as a virtual server you could use an irule or local traffic policy here to redirect.

    When you hit x.goal.com you should see y.goal.com. 1) if you are not worried about the naming redirection in the browser header, then go for DNS cname creation y.goal.com cname to x.goal.com ( only URL based)

     

    2) If you have concern on the browser header also you need to see the redirection, then go for LTM setup with irule for redirection. ( URL and URI based)

     

    3) Without GTM/ LTM s dorectly on the server page of x.goal.com have html code hard-coded for redirection. ( URL and URI based)
