Upgrading to v11.x form v9.4.7 by perfoming a Clean Install
hi guys,
I'm about to perform an upgrade for a couple of 1600 LTM controllers to v11.x. The fact is that the documentation you find on ask f5 says that there's no direct path to v11 from v9, so you gotta do a v9 to v10 first, then format to volumes and finally install v11. But also I find a way of perfoming a clean install for v11 (SOL13117) by using the disk init utility for volume formatting (which erases all data) and then install from external CD-ROM.
Do you guys think it can work the upgade by doing the clean install and avoiding the staged procedure? (I don't care much about config, I could make it from scracth again)
thanks for your thoughts!

What is the procedure for doing a clean install using a cdrom
If you do not mind redoing the configuration I would just go straight fresh install. I performed an upgrade from 10.2.4 to 11.6 and that was trouble enough bringing the old configuration up.
