Trying to create Icontrol to retrieve values similar to show /sys connection

I use the following to dump all my BIG-IP statistics into a metrics system (in this case, Graphite).

That's pretty cool stuff. Not what I was looking to do per se in this question but this is something I have been looking to do but with the IStats API, albeit not with much luck.

Perfect! Thanks so much. Also, I am going to play around with that iControl script. That is really interesting and I hate the SNMP polling stats for VIPs.

I have a newer version of the iControl statistics gathering script that I plan on publishing to the aforementioned repository "any day now." :) But I agree, trying to grab all that stuff from SNMP is... painful.
