Traffic initiated from server is not being routed
Hi,
I have two servers behind virtual-service. When sending traffic to the IP of the virtual-service the F5 successfully change the IP address of the destination IP and send it to the designated server. The problem I see is that traffic initiated from the server itself to another component in network is not routed by F5. I susspect these kind of packets are discarded by F5. I made disiable to the virtual-service pool and saw the same. In addition, when changing configuration should I activate it? I see that only reset really change the parameters.
Thanks

bigip is default deny device. object listener (e.g. virtual server, snat, nat) is required to forward traffic across vlan.

Hi Onissim,
The F5 will deny traffic by default.
If you want the F5 to route traffic from the Server you'll need to create a Virtual Server to do this and enable the VS on the interface that connects to the server.
Stewart.
