Topology based loadbalancing on GTM
Hi, I have a wideip xyz.poogle.com and behind this wide ip i have a pool with two members 1.1.1.1 and 2.2.2.2 I want if requests from india from pune comes then it should go to 1.1.1.1 and if requests from mumbai comes then it should go to 2.2.2.2 All other requests should go to 1.1.1.1 is it possible?

Create topology records in GTM & define the Pune/Mumbai/Asia source Subnet. Select GTM LB method as Topology. Plz see below link. which will give some clue to setup.

Thanks for the quick reply. When we create a topology, does it consider the source as actual user IP or the source is LDNS? In my observation, i see requests to GTM comes from source as LDNS, the actual user IP never hits on GTM <<--- i can be wrong here.

Its LDNS source IP. LDNS request source defines the origin of a DNS resolution req.

So, if someone is using google DNS 8.8.8.8 then GTM would consider the source as US and not the actual source of user IP which could be pune? Thanks again
