I've got a couple of F5 LTMs that intermittantly alarming with
threshold of overheat exceeded: current value 45.000000.
I've checked the physical environment of the devices and the air flow it clear...

CirrostratusI'm not sure that there is more information published than the "Platform Guide" for your specific appliance. You can find it on AskF5.
There's a chapter "Platform specifications" that contain the information about operating temp.range etc. There have been a few SOL published about fan not having enough speed and causing false alarming about temperature.
I would suggest you to open a support case, if your environmental conditions are fine.
