Text file checking monitor

Hi,

 

I hope you are all doing well,

 

I have a question about monitor with the file checking on the server and if there is no specified file on the server, monitor must be marked node down.

 

F5' s software is 11.4.1 and also i need to learn that can i do this with smb monitor ?

    Hi

     

    check in /var/log/ltm it's a text file you can SCP it

    Sorry but i don't understand anything,

     

    I need to know this health check can do with text file on the server side and decide the node is up or down.

    Yes, you can configure a monitor to read filename.txt inside specific folder on each server, monitor would mark the server down if the file is not accessible.
