Terminate on BYE and SIP Persistence
Hi,
I wanted to understand the relationship between 'Terminate on BYE' and SIP Call ID Persistence. I understand that 'Terminate on BYE' will close the connection as and when the dialog encounters a BYE (200 OK BYE).
Is this SIP Connection that is closed? and Am I correct in asuming that the closing of SIP Connection means clearing / deleting the SIP Persistence entry?
If so, when I uncheck / diasble 'Terminate on BYE' how do I ensure that the SIP persistence entry for the call is deleted?
Note - I have set the UDP and SIP Call-ID Persistence timeouts to Indefinite.
Best Regards,
Hari

I would guess that when Terminate-on-Bye is enabled, then the Load Balancer should still keep the session stickiness alive for 32s, by virtue of which it makes provision for retransmissions of the Bye / 200 Ok.
