Telemetry Streaming generic HTTP push consumer forwards events to Oracle cloud
- Feb 28, 2023
Hi raindrop18 , I've only used the Generic HTTP push consumer to push telemetry to LogStash or OtelCol, both of which were running on Linux VM's in the cloud. So they could be in Oracle Cloud, but there's no OCI-specific TS consumer.
I learned how to do this by following Greg Coward's guide to deploying ELK stack, where the "L" in ELK stood for Logstash. Here is the section of his TS declaration that configures the Generic HTTP push consumer: https://github.com/f5devcentral/analytics-vendor-dashboards/blob/699d1fff81ebb96239430ab478c1d8d8c41d3afb/elastic/F5%20BIG-IP/sample_logstash_ts_declaration.json#L49-L63
