tcp monitor failure
LTM V11.5.1 hotfix 10 ; one pool only with one member,tcp monitor ; when server power off , tcp monitor still Ok ; If choose icmp monitor , pool is down. tmsh command "f5 telnet 10.8.8.54 80" is ok ,but the server power down ; F5 ping 10.8.8.54 not ok ,can you explain this ?

Hi, i believe you are using a custom tcp monitor? Can you show what are the monitor settings?
Did you try using the default tcp monitor?

Are you sure that it is the server that are actually responding to the tcp connections, and not something that responds on behalf of the server? Is the BIG-IP directly attached to the subnet where the servers reside? In that case I would look at the MAC addresses to make sure that it is the correct device that responds.
