TCP dump syntax

am trying to check for a conenction log to a VIP on my F5 from aprticular source

 

Can anyone help with the tcp syntax i can use filtering source and destination Ip

  • If you are not using route domains then here is example :

     

    tcpdump -nnni interface src host 172.16.101.20 and dst host 10.90.100.1

  • tcpdump -i -nn host x.x.x.x and host y.y.y.y

     

    that would be the basic one. i would advise you to read the F5 sols on tcpdump.
