TCP connection reset
I am experiencing TCP connection reset from one of my client to Virtual server.scenario is as below
1)-client--->FW-->Internet--->FW--->LTM---->Pool members. I am experiencing TCP connection reset for above scenario, to isolate whether we have issue in LB or not we did below test
2)-Client----> FW---> Internet---> Pool memebers Here too we are experiencing TCP connections reset.
3)- We tried from different internet and we experiencing same issue. reset send by either client end or server end and the reset is sporadic in nature. Some time it takes 30mins to reset a connection where as some time it goes 5/6 hrs.
please suggest if any issue with LTM to check the tcp connection reset reason.
Thanks swap

If you grep for 'RST' in /var/log/ltm, are you seeing anything? If so, can you share it with us? If not, enable RST logging as described at https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/200/sol13223.html - Hannes_Rapp

By default, F5's clientside TCP profile has a configuration to "send TCP reset on timeout". You can check this setting in Local Traffic -> Profiles ->

Hi guys i am having a similar issue just that mine happens at random like after a few connectionsi will see a reset sometimes the reset clears itself after 5 seconds.
How did you guys solve this problem
when i check logs and packet captures i see the following
12:15:19.370624 IP 10.0.91.96.80 > 10.248.5.50.1324: Flags [R.], seq 1:55, ack 922, win 0, length 54 out slot1/tmm0 lis=/Common/campaigns.test flowtype=64 flowid=5700136F3400 peerid=57000128C300 conflags=800024 inslot=0 inport=0 haunit=1 priority=3 rst_cause="[0x23c0eba:9280] {peer} TCP retransmit timeout" peerremote=00000000:00000000:0000FFFF:0A005C3D peerlocal=00000000:00000000:0000FFFF:0A005B08 remoteport=80 localport=6626 proto=6 vlan=104
I have looked at tcp values and they are fine.
