Tacacs secret encryption

Hello Guys,

Does anybody knows how the TACACS secret gets encrypted in the BIG IP configuration? It's not the same as the users are (SHA512). I can see that they use a salt for this but I cannot figure out what encryption method they use. All the encrypted keys start with $M$ but after researching this for a while I couldn't retrieve anything on Internet.
