System CPU Usage Jumping Up/Down

What probably can be the caused of this cpu performance is jumping up then down continously.

Last 24 hours :

 

When trying to "tail -f /var/log/ltm", it prompts below : info sshd[27920]: Received disconnect from .... err sshd[27926]: error: PAM: Authentication failure for root from ....

    Hi, I think you need to figure out if any process is taking CPU time. Before that What software ver are you running? any hot fix applied recently?

     

    Just try to find out which process is taking most CPU time, you can try with 'ps' or 'top'. I would also check other parameters like throughput, connection rates etc., in the analytic section. You could also check the logs for some fishy events..
