SYSLOG best practice

 

Hello Guy's i am quite new to LTM, i was looking to see if anyone had a guide or recommendation of how to setup SYSLOG-NG to send messages via eth0 Mgmt interface to 2 hosts. I have setup and modifed the syslog-ng file but my syslog servers are getting flooded. (Looks like it is sending everything)

 

 

I am looking for a guide as what a minimum i should be logging , and how to change the detail of the logs.

 

 

I hope that all made some sort of sense.

 

 

I am grateful of any advice, this will be configured over 3 pairs of LTM 2 x BIG IP 6900 and 4 x BIG IP LTM 3600
